*Dr. McBride (author of Gut and Psycholgy Syndrome) believes that the Maltodextrin component is so small that it does not interfere with the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD). In her own experience with thousands of patients, she has only come across 2 cases where Maltodextrin was a problem and this with with patients who had acute sensitivity to Matodextrin.
