The water we choose to drink and cook with can have a huge impact on our overall health and wellbeing. Most of us understand that there are serious downsides to consuming municipal tap water, but with the myriad water filters available and all their different advertising claims, how can we make an optimal choice?

Here at GPA Wholefoods, we did our research: thoroughly! After testing and investigating several filtration systems we found that Reverse Osmosis (RO) is the only effective way to remove dissolved solids, metal salts and fluoride from tap water. It’s an economical way to filter up to 99% of tap water contaminants.

AND the water tastes great!

How does it work?

An RO filter is simply a mesh system with ultrafine holes that contaminants cannot permeate, leaving you with pure, fresh, clean water for drinking and cooking.

Despite the common misconception that RO water is ‘dead’, this purification process in no way alters the molecular structure of water. RO water retains all of the life-giving properties of H2O, with no heat or chemical processes taking place.

With our RO systems, you also have the option of installing a re-mineralisation cartridge that restores the full spectrum of naturally occurring, healthy minerals to your water.

Installation

RO filters are simple to install for the average handy-man, and all packages include a simple instructional DVD.

However if you live in Sydney and would like us to install it for you, just let us know!
